Gibbston Tavern

Gibbston Tavern is a fantastic place to visit when in the area. We visited on a cold afternoon, tavern was very cosy with the hot fire very appreciated! Service was friendly and attentive, with a lot of care taken. We didn’t order food this time, but will be back for the amazing looking pizza. Beer was great and loved the mulled wine, owner was kind enough to gift us a bottle to take with us Outdoor area is great, would be lovely in summer, with lots of seats and games to play. And Hank, the resident dog, loved having his company, definitely a character! We definitely recommend and will return when back in the Gibbston Valley. Thanks for your hospitality

Loved this place. It was one of our favourite places when we visited Queenstown. Wine made on site was delicious, the staff were lovely and welcoming and Hank the dog was the best boy. The pizza was also top notch. Lovely place to spend the afternoon in a chill friendly environment. Will recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown.

The Gibbston Tavern is like a beer oasis in a vineyard desert. Don't get me wrong I love wine, but every now and then it's great to enjoy a local craft beer and Gibbston Tavern is the place to do this. They have a great outdoor area and welcome kids and pets. They are renowned for their wood fired pizzas. The staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back on our next visit. Leanne Beach Travel Wine Podcast

Great and wonderful place to have a meal and chill in the sun and natural wind. Tank the rescue dog was a pleasure to have around.
