After eating, they drive on the way to the shot stone marker where bonnie and clyde were beaten down in a police bumblebee. byob. all five stars.
I felt like I had been invited to someone’s home for dinner. The home-cooked meals reminded me of childhood. I had the grilled chicken breast with a side of Swedish baked carrots and toast. It was a very well-prepared meal—simple, yet one of the best I've ever had. My girlfriend ordered the fried fish with fries, salad, and hush puppies, and everything was top-notch. They even included green tomatoes and a swirl, which, in my opinion, should be a standard at any Southern meal. We will definitely go back. The only downside was that I wish other places offered at least half the quality of service that I received at Gibsland Grill. They even have the option to fax you a menu if you want, and they host a book swap where you can trade in one of your old books for something new to you.
One of the best-kept secrets in North Louisiana! The service and dining experience are outstanding. I highly recommend trying the roasted pork chop and finishing with the buttermilk cake for dessert.
This is a fantastic restaurant! The meatloaf was delicious, and the chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about it, and I really loved the sweet tea. I definitely plan to stop by again, hopefully on a Friday night for the cat.
