Chelis Mexican Food - Giddings

Owner Chef: Aracelli makes all the food for the authentic Mexican restaurant. The homemade corn and flour tortillas are hot off the griddle and absolutely amazing. The fajita burrito and flautas were delicious too. Complimentary chips and salsa (yum yum).I would highly recommend that GoodTaste with Tanji as well as Chet from the Daytripper to go visit and enjoy some down home Mexican cuisine. The inside is just beautiful with a Spanish vibe. We enjoyed the strawberry aqua Fresca which was very thirsty quenching. We will be back with our friends!!! Worth the drive from Georgetown, TX.

Fantastic spot on our route from Austin to Houston. Wonderful service and fantastic food with seasonal options like the aguas frescas (mango was the best!! they are huge!!

What a cute and clean restaurant! The food was tasty and the presentation was fabulous (you eat with your eyes, right? . Salsa was definitely fresh. The waitress was friendly and helpful!

Chelis is my favorite restaurant in Giddings! This is the cleanest place I have ever eaten, the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the server is amazing! The salsa is so fresh and perfectly spiced, the tea is great and we always have a wonderful experience! We visit about once a week and love this place! Highly recommend!!
