Mercado De Amigos - Gila Bend

Food was cold and overpriced. I waited for 15 minutes and when I got it it was warm to cold. For $11.00 I would have thought that it would be hot and fresh.

The carne asada burrito was amazing. Cooked fresh, watched him take the meat out of butcher shelf. It was also massive, It was two meals in one. Will always stop when go through the town again. The Spanish market it is in has several items to buy too. Got some great corn chips too.

We loved this place! we will def go back for some authentic Mexican next time we are in passing through Gila Bend.

Great place Carne Assad burrito was huge great seasoning and service was absolutely wonderful ! The cook had made it fresh right there for us! Will be back!

I have to agree with the previous reviews. The carne asada burrito, filled with chopped flank steak, was made fresh and contained high-quality meat. Interestingly, a Mexican gentleman who was also a customer helped me choose my toppings since the food preparer didn't speak any English. I asked for almost everything, including the red salsa, which added a nice kick without being too spicy. It was delicious and would make for excellent leftovers. I would definitely return if I'm in the area as a tourist. The place is located about 0.75 miles north of I-8 on the west side of AZ Route 85.
