Feedback gevenIt was quite busy, so I understand she might have felt overwhelmed, but I made an effort to be nice to her right from the start, and she responded with a cold and dismissive attitude. It was truly embarrassing. When I mentioned that I had multiple bowls to order, she rolled her eyes at me and sighed several times when I didn't immediately specify the type of bowl and rice for each order. I've never experienced such treatment before—it honestly made me want to cry. Having worked as a manager myself, I recognize the pressures of a busy environment, but that’s no excuse for being rude to customers, especially when they are being friendly. I want to note that the employee I’m referring to is not the girl at the register with pink hair, nor the one with long dark hair handling mobile orders at the other half of the bar; both of them were nice and pleasant, almost as if they were trying to make up for the rudeness of the bartender. I do plan to return to this restaurant, primarily to get the names of the kind staff members and update this review accordingly.
When I approached the counter to discuss the issue, the staff member didn’t greet me or show any acknowledgment. I requested to cancel my order because my family was waiting in the car, but I was told to go online without any further instructions. When I inquired about talking to the manager, I received a dismissive "I don’t know." This level of service is very unprofessional and unaccommodating. I don't expect a five-star or even a four-star experience at Chipotle, but a basic standard of professionalism and customer service is a minimum requirement. If they can't fulfill orders on time, they should consider canceling them. They also need to learn how to manage mobile ordering or the in-person line more effectively. There's a noticeable lack of experience across the board, but what stood out most was the poor attitude from the staff.
I am not one to blow up a business on social media, but their internal review / chat was as disappointing as my recent online order. After 20 years of being a faithful customer, I must say that quality is steadily decreasing. we ordered four bowls and each of them was less than half and were not made as ordered. I had recently done a medical procedure and did not have the energy to go back to the restaurant and return it to the manager. but I assure them I will begin to explore other restaurants that serve similar meals.
I have worked in the food industry in the last 11 years, and I have never seen so much lazy in the industry as I did last night. my brother and I went here half an hour before we closed, and there were about 12 people before us. The only work we saw was there all the time, was someone who stacked chairs, which was strange with so many people waiting. after about 8 minutes, no one on the Prep line or cooking, two people came out from the back and went around the line a little, giggling and talking to each other. no burritos were made. after a few minutes nothing, I went to them and asked, may I ask what the stop is? the teen said he was waiting for buzzing and cheese. in the did a bean was missing, but the cheese was almost full. I pointed out that he had a lot of cheese with which he reacted with us could use more. that has no meaning. he could have made the burritos of other people and moved the line, but he just stood around. my brother and I did our business elsewhere. If I were the manager there, that would be unacceptable.
The food was very good. The issue I do have is when employees are bickering back and forth. The young lady who appeared to be a shift manager, was being rather unprofessional in front of me, a customer. A young man brought up some bagged items to be placed up front. She got mad at him because he was trying to do what he was told to do. He told her to stop her behavior. She in turn told him to do as he was told. There 's a more professional way of doing things. This type of employee interaction isn 't a positive experience. It 's something that shouldn 't happen and especially in front of paying customers.
