Cogburn's Big Wings - Gilbert

We arrived at the restaurant with a group and placed our food order at 10:36 PM, keeping track of the time since we knew the kitchen closed at 11 PM. We ordered some appetizers and wings. However, at 11:06 PM, we were informed that the kitchen wouldn’t be preparing our food because it was closed, even though others who ordered after us received their meals. To make matters worse, one member of our group didn’t even receive the drink she ordered along with her food. After waiting for half an hour with no updates, we left to get Jack in the Box and brought it back, only to be told we weren’t getting our food. If the kitchen was closing, they shouldn’t have taken our order at all; we would have gone somewhere else for a meal.

The service left much to be desired. Our server didn’t notice our glasses were empty even after being gone for 30 minutes. I believe if they partnered with ATL to blend their original sauce with Shae Wing Sauce and their ranch dressing, they could create the ideal wing sauce. As it stands, I still think San Tan Flats has the best honey hot wings.

I really enjoy spicy food, but a dish that has great flavor along with some heat always impresses me. The hot garlic wings were a perfect example of this. They had an excellent taste with just the right amount of spice. Next time, I'm thinking of adding some competition wings for an extra kick. I can't wait!

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger accompanied by onion rings, and it was fantastic! My friend opted for a cheeseburger and fries, both of which were delicious. The food was great, and the servers were very attentive. We will definitely be returning. Additionally, there are plenty of TVs to catch various sports events.

Interestingly, other customers who ordered after us received their meals. Additionally, one person in our group didn't even receive her drink, which she had ordered at the same time as her food. After waiting half an hour only to be told we wouldn’t be getting any food, we ended up going to Jack in the Box and bringing it back. If they were closing the kitchen, they shouldn't have taken our order in the first place, and we would have gone elsewhere for dinner.
