Jalisience Mexican Food - Gilbert

Great food and great staff. Used to go here all the time when i lived across the street and now i still make the 20 minute trip sometimes just to eat there again. A lot of Mexican food places have plain beans with no flavor but these ones are actually goodand they use the good cheese as well instead of shredded cheddar.

This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and I enjoy a lot of it. There are many unique dishes beyond the typical tacos, burritos, and nachos. The salsa is delicious, and the house-made habanero sauce is fantastic. There is plenty of space, so you don't feel cramped. Our service was excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I'm sure I'll return many times. They also offer ceviche and aquachile, which you don't find at many Sonoran restaurants throughout Phoenix.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. To sum it up: I will return and would happily bring my Mexican wife's family here for a quick meal. The service is friendly and attentive. You seat yourself, so the service may not be the quickest, but this place is all about the food. It took a little while for our meals to arrive, but it was worth the wait. You can definitely taste the authenticity of the Mexican cuisine—very flavorful and satisfying. I tried the Tacos Birria, one of my favorite Mexican dishes, and it was delicious. My wife ordered the Tripas; she thought it was flavorful but missed the usual crispiness. The Chilaquiles had perfectly crispy tortillas, a flavorful chili sauce, and an expertly cooked over-easy egg. Overall, calling the food 'tasty' doesn't do it justice—I keep thinking of that gif of Gordon Ramsay saying it was "f*cking delicious" because it truly was. I will definitely come back!

I visited this restaurant for the second time, having lunch with my father on a Monday just before the lunch rush. At the time, three tables were occupied, but by the time we finished, most of the tables were filled. The food is wonderfully authentic, and the service was exceptional. The staff members were incredibly friendly and made sure we were well taken care of even as the restaurant got busier.

The food and service here are outstanding. This place is truly a hidden gem. Be sure to add it to your list for genuine homemade Mexican cuisine.
