Rubio's Coastal Grill - Gilbert

The customer service was rated 4 out of 5; everyone was very friendly. I wanted to mention the reason for my review, which is the pinto beans. They're one of my favorite dishes, but over the past few months, they've been watery and not well-seasoned at this restaurant. I've since tried pinto beans at another place, and they were much better in flavor. On a positive note, I still love my chicken tacos just as much as before.

There are plenty of options available. I didn't stick to the old menu but ended up trying something new. I ordered the taquitos, which were crispy on the outside and moist inside, but sadly lacked flavor. The generous portion of guacamole on top, along with some diced tomatoes, did little to compensate for the blandness of the chicken in the taquitos. I might give another menu item a try the next time I'm in the area.
