If I could give 10 stars I would!! Whoever was the night shift crew tonight, was AMAZING!!! Everyone was so friendly, the restaurant was super clean and the food was delicious!!! Thank you Gilbert Rudy's for being so amazing!! You guys rock!!!

Is this place real or is it a joke? Downright the worst bbq I've EVER had... I don't know if I'm offended more about paying $16 for a few pieces of brisket, or the fact that I had to use a knife to cut it apart. 0 bend to it, fat wasn't even rendered and it had the tiniest smoke ring. Do they cook their brisket for like 4 hours? Ribs were just as nasty. The only thing going for this place is the soda fountain machine, can't screw that up... I'd rather eat my own feces than eat here again. Shameful.

The food is always awesome, some of the best BBQ in Arizona. Get the potato salad, you won't be sorry. The staff is always very friendly. It's a great atmosphere, large on the inside with a separate party room.

I still keep wondering in amazement why this place is not more crowded. Casual Sunday afternoon, great bbq meat, good home cooked style food. Country music playing and TVs on with a baseball game playing. Couldn't get more American than this, except hardly any people here.
