Feedback gevenI had the Calamari-Bocata ringing in a bungalow. It's great if you love Spanish food and have traveled for a long time. The band on their live music evenings is really cool.
Friendly staff on the island. Cheap drinks. Spanish menu. Soft sand from the front so you need to work for your drinks, but it is worth it.
We came an afternoon and it wasn't crazy so we got pretty attentive service. A nice guy named Jamal greeted us and let us sit wherever our imagination got. Everything on the menu looks really good. They had a good selection of tapas at reasonable prices. They also had a good selection of vegetarian / vegan dishes. I usually eat meat, but decided to have some freshness as it was a scorcher one day. I was very happy with my choice. I ordered the Veggie Toast that was sooo fresh! There were two open sandwiches on a perfect white loaves dressed with homemade pesto. Upstairs was basil, arugula, salad/spinch and a generous part of freshly advised parmesan cheese. The flavors were on site. So weedy and fresh. I could eat every day. But be warned, you have to follow your teeth. I enjoyed writing my ice lemon tea as well as (a menu item. My partner ordered the hummus plate and a melon smoothie (super yummy! You can't really find cantaloupe smoothies everywhere so.. You can say it's fresh because the juice separates. All in all, I enjoyed everything about Pura Vida. It could take a while to get our food out, but we weren't in a hurry or something.
Excellent mood, great reggae on Reggae Tuesdays and they know how to entertain. The owner is also beautiful, friendly and accommodating. Good drinks. And best, away from the main strip on the south side, this is north.
Beautiful sunset views! Food is absolutely great and the staff is really nice
