The Highlander - Gilles Plains

Overall, I had a fantastic experience. We also stayed overnight at the accommodation provided. The restaurant was quite busy, and the food was excellent. While the service was generally good, I rated it 3 stars due to an encounter with one female staff member at the bar who was quite rude. However, the rest of the staff were very pleasant. I would definitely return and highly recommend the burger—it was delicious!

We ordered the fish and chips and the roast pork, both of which came in large portions for just $16 each! The roast of the day was pork, featuring a hearty serving of tender, delightful pork complemented by four excellent roast potatoes, plenty of tasty vegetables, two Yorkshire puddings, and scrumptious gravy. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and outstanding food, and we are already looking forward to our next visit! For a pub meal, we haven't experienced such excellent dining in a long time. We wholeheartedly give it a 10 out of 10! There were no faults with the service or food, and the price was an absolute steal!

I was here for 2 separate events and I can say that the service was amazing, the personal is so friendly and the upper floor functional space is perfect for birthdays, engagements and other events. eating is great. they have a huge screen for videos and pictures. lots of parking and lift access to the top. food: 4/5 service: 4/5 atmosphere: 5/5 .more
