Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park

Just a heads up, the food inside the park is quite pricey, so it's a good idea to pack a picnic lunch. While you can’t bring food into the park, you can stamp your hand and step out to eat; there are picnic tables conveniently located just outside the entrance. Re-entering the park with your stamped hand is a breeze. We visited in the morning, and it was not crowded at all—with no lines to deal with. The crowds tend to come in during the afternoon. The park also features a full water park, although we didn’t use it during this trip since there was more than enough to keep the kids entertained.

Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is a wonderful destination with something for everyone. Young children will find plenty of rides suited for them, while older kids and adults can also enjoy some attractions. I recommend starting with the paddle boats, as the wait times tend to increase to around 20-25 minutes or more later in the day. The Timber Twister and Quicksilver coaster are thrilling options for adults who enjoy a bit of excitement. The food prices are a bit high, but the Garlic French fries are definitely worth trying. The gardens are lovely, and there are plenty of areas to sit and relax. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy with family, and I plan to visit again.

Definitely recommend this place. Is so beautiful and there is so many flowers and trees around it. The birds sounds are amazing and the river is beautiful. Rides are mostly for kids, but as an adult you will get to relax and enjoy the scenery and fresh air. There is some rides adults can enjoy and train rides that show you the park. Kids under 4 will also enjoy some of the rides. The park was not too crowded and lines were so small. All workers were kind and friendly. Food however is not good and is overpriced. It needs to improve. I recommend eating outside before going in. There is also a water park that is super cute. Place is awesome. We will be going back for halloween and Christmas.

Love this place for the little ones!! My son had a blast here. It's definitely catered more towards younger kids. The rides were fun and safe! Park is fairly large with beautiful lights around the holidays! We came here for Halloween and it was bright with purple and clear lights, I can only imagine how beautiful it is around Christmas time! We will definitely be coming back, I do recommend the membership if you'll come more than twice!

Although it requires a bit of navigating to get here, it's well worth the journey and offers a paradise for the entire family. You can find food available for purchase in the picnic area outside the gates if you prefer to bring your own. Gilroy Gardens provides plenty of shade, but be prepared for long lines at the restroom; it's best to visit before noon. If you can, pay online—it's quick, easy, and will save you both time and money. Overall, the entrance fee, parking, and food options are all worth it, and I highly recommend this experience.
