However, during peak dining times, maneuvering mobility devices and wheelchairs may be difficult due to the outdoor seating set up by neighboring restaurants on the wide sidewalk. The counter has perspex dividers for safety, and purchasing items is easy with a new card swipe system. Online orders are also an option.
I was delighted to discover this restaurant! I've been craving Mediterranean food and this place hit the spot. We ordered a vegetarian plate with a mix of salad and turmeric rice, as well as a falafel wrap called a lavash. Both dishes came with complimentary sides, minus the feta cheese. I absolutely loved my vegetarian plate, which featured grilled eggplant as the main protein. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. I appreciated that nothing was greasy, except for the fresh extra virgin olive oil in the hummus. The turmeric rice was tasty, the dolmades were delightful, the salad was well-seasoned, the tabouleh was refreshing, the hummus was incredibly smooth, and the baba ganoush was delicious. Every element of the meal was fresh, flavorful, well-prepared, and seasoned to perfection. The garlic sauce was particularly outstanding. My husband enjoyed his falafel wrap, although I preferred my veggie plate. He also ordered a side of fries, which were lightly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. They were quite good. The only disappointing part of the meal was the homemade baklava, which was unfortunately soggy. Baklava should have a delightful mix of textures, with crisp flaky layers of phyllo dough sandwiched between nuts and syrup. However, this version was lacking in layers and those that were there were too thin. The service was excellent, with a friendly and helpful lady who explained the menu and ordering process without rushing us. She even came out to check on our food while we dined outside. Despite the disappointing baklava, I still give this place a 5-star rating. My plate was delicious, with every ingredient fresh and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, the restaurant was clean and well-organized. We will definitely be returning.
We typically do not dine in at this restaurant, but instead opt for takeout. You place your order at the counter, so there are no waiters or waitresses. The staff at the counter is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. My go-to dishes are the chicken kebobs and baklava. I used to love their lentil soup, but unfortunately it is no longer on the menu. I also purchase grape leaves from here to make dolma. Overall, it is a nice little restaurant.
This is one of the top three best gyros I have ever tried. The spicy sauce was amazing. Even though I live 400 miles away from this restaurant, I would make a special trip just to come back here again.
During a road trip, we came across this gem of a restaurant and were delighted by the experience. The owner, who is a very pleasant woman, makes you feel like you're enjoying a delicious homemade meal. We both tried the chicken kebab plate, and were impressed by the tender, juicy, and well-seasoned chicken. The sauces, particularly the white garlic sauce, were also extremely tasty. We might just have to return to purchase a jar of it!
