Maverick's Bistro Krispy Krunchy Chicken Girard

I eat here at least 5 times a week because it's close the prices are reasonable and the food is usually good. I went there today and seen they only had a few wedges left in the case and I asked if they were making fresh ones and the cashier said yes if I don't mind waiting I can get them fresh out of the fryer. Well then out of no where the manager came running up and said those wedges are fresh and you have to take those before we can put the other ones out. She knows me because like I said I eat there at least 5 days a week and she bagged up those wedges and gave them to me. I just got home and those wedges were completely uneditable. I would usually call and complain to the manager but she is the manager. I told her twice I was waiting for the fresh ones and she literally refused and insisted the ones that were there were fresh and they were disgusting. She has an attitude problem with me every time she is working and I go there. Upper management needs to replace her asap. If she talks to everyone the way she talks to me then I feel bad for whoever has to deal with her.

Chicken was tender and very delicious. The macaroni and cheese wasn't that great. The rice and beans were okay. but, a little to spicy for me. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very good. First time here. Will come back.

The most amazing place to grab tenders and a slice of pizza. A whole large pizza is only 12 bucks. Chicken tenders have a Cajun spice to them and the bourbon sauce and honey bbq is amazing. They have a bunch of different sandwiches and appetizers. Also a display case of fresh cheese cakes. All this tucked away in a gas station. Service was friendly and helpful. Environment is casual and tucked in a gas station.

The chicken bacon sandwich was good but lacked the condiments.

It says they close at 8 p.m. we went in at 730 and they said we'll I guess I can heat up something if you really want like wth. No thanks guy
