El Pati De La Veina - Girona

Fairly limited menu, we both plumped for burgers. Three types of hummus as a starter appeared to be a popular choice. All very tasty, good value and prepared quickly. A cosy, busy and enjoyable place run by just one waitress and one cook.

A very eccentric place to eat at the very heart of old town girona at an affordable price and good range of food and good music too. and they also let you to leave a message on the wall.

We have enjoyed the quirkiness of El Pati before and so decided to take visiting family to see the place. Sadly, it did not live up to our previous experience. Although nothing was bad, most food was surprisingly bland. The salad, although a good size, was tasteless. The cannelloni was stodgy and unappealing; the veggie hamburger was uninspiring and the roast chicken with potatoes was not roasted it was boiled and sat in a large pool of oil. At €17, the Menu del Dia is a pricey as it does not include dessert or bread. The wine was also very average and disappointing. All in all, not a great experience for the family but maybe this was just an off day for the restaurant?

Llegué al pai de la veyna por casualidad, lugar muy particular. Me encantó la decoración. muy auténtico y se nota que hay mucho afecto aquí y dedicación. ¡Te felicito! la comida más deliciosa! hecho en casa, sano y raciones más que generoso. la atención muy buena y cálida y la música me consiguió mucho también. Definitivamente lo recomiendo mucho.

Buen lugar para comer con un propietario muy agradable, menú de primer segundo para 15€ persona.
