Ben was not hungry. We just share a combo meal from Chef of Dumplings. We added a dessert to our combo meal and the bill came to $10.
Good price! For $8.25, you will get dumplings, lamb stir fried, Asian pancake and a cup of imitation shark fin soup. The lamb was flavorful, the pancake tastes very good. Dimpling were ok and the soup was blend. Overall, I think it is okay coz you can't beat the value of $8.25!
Like this place because the set menu that it offers has all the fav food that I like northern chinese dumplings, spicy squid, green onion pancake and imitation shark fin soup! And all for around $8 : love the combination of squid and onion pancake, the soup wasn't too salty and too thick.
Pan fried Chinese chives with pork dumpling: the fillings in these was well distributed and balanced. Often times restaurants skimp out on the proteins but it wasn’t the case for these.
Aberdeen centre’s food court snakes around and allows over 20 different stands to have their own dedicated space. Lots of effort was put into decorating each stall. Each had its name in bold, a menu with photos, and some even a display of items served utilizing accurately portrayed plastic food. Not surprisingly, most of the writing used was Chinese characters, but the coloured photos and the glossy fake food helped to bridge the language gap. I will be covering all 20 of the foodcourt dining options across several posts.
