Afternoon tea at Blythswood Square

My husband and I honeymooned in Scotland for 11 days after a quick 2 day trip to London and across all of the various hotels and BnBs we stayed in,

Beautiful restaurant, very decadent. We had 2 course market lunch(£18.50) Pate was lovely but served with only 1 very small slice bread. Chicken with wine

Beautiful remodel on the old RAC building in a great setting Nice details throughout the hotel Staff are very friendly and professional.

Booked table for afternoon teas. Young staff were very pleasant but the afternoon tea in itself was very poor. Not enough sandwiches and poor cake selections. Scones were top class. Being in the industry I try not to look at it too critically but thought cake (if you could call it that) was mainly chocolate as in macaroon and bite size carrot cake and bite size brownie. At over per person I did not leave thinking… I might book again !! All in all a poor experience.

Booked lunch here and found the place has changed a lot from our last visit for the worst, price for mains very small portions.
