I told them I had a nut allergy and they were very helpful in sorting me an excellent curry and the nan bread was the size of an elephant ear. more than enough for two, also noticed that the chef who cooked her meal presented it on her table. personal fantastic.
Super and I liked it I must say that this has to visit Indo-Pak restaurant when they are in glassgow. the chicken liver kadai was my family favorite.staff were attentive and always ready to help select the menu. it is the same service standards extended to all customers .mango leti was also superb only problem was not provided internet from the hotel
I was in this restaurant. I must say amazing eating, really enjoyed. the most amazed is the naan as she serves, really loved it! good friendly service also.
A great place to eat! good Indian food! the ambiente is very good and the naan is so huge.
I chose 'i like ' Akbars as it was mostly good but it is definitely far from the best Indian meal you can find in Glasgow. The place was packed which is always a good sign. One of the best things about this place is the staff. Our waiters were extremely attentive and helpful which is a good thing in a busy place. Onto the food. It was ok. It isn 't going to blow your mind or make you want to rush back the next day or even week. We are still trying to figure out why they gave us olives as a garnish with the starters. A bit confusing. The lamb rogan josh was tasty, lacked a bit of punch, but was good. The vegetable rogan josh was slightly disappointing though. Again no heat to it but it was mostly large wedges of tomato with a couple of slices of carrot. It felt like they had filled it out with tomato wedges and little else (there was one pea just for a touch of variety). Both the rice and the giant naan bread were nice. Bit of a middle of the road meal but not enough to dislike it. Nothing special in the sea of Indian restaurants Glasgow has.
