City Pizza Grill - Glasgow

This restaurant has the potential to be wonderful, but unfortunately, it falls short. There's a sign asking patrons to wait to be seated, but that doesn't happen. The two waitresses seem overwhelmed and lack even basic customer service skills. They don't greet you when you walk in, and there’s no hostess to assist. They walk past you several times, and if you ask if someone can seat you, you’re told to wait. We ended up at the bar, where the bartender did her best to help us. However, empty and dirty glasses were left in front of my friend while the waitresses attended to clearing tables. I would highly recommend staying away from this restaurant for now! Hopefully, with new staff and better management, this pizza place can turn things around.

Don 't!!! be put off it looks slightly divey from the outside (which I love BTW but the bartender Dave was wonderful and let me just say for a Philly girl the pizza was delish!!! Just a cool ,casual place to hang out on Siesta Key, walking distance from Midnight Cove. Listen to some live music and enjoy really tasty pizza (full bar BTW! We were exhausted from a long day and this was simply put: perfect. Thanks so much. Kim and Ed from Philly

Very good pizza I stopped in early for lunch, about 15 minutes after they opened at 11, and walked into an empty restaurant. Almost empty, after a couple of minutes a person showed up who would be my hostess and server. She was very nice and apologized, explaining they had just removed a bell that let them know someone had walked in. The restaurant remained almost empty while I enjoyed my lunch. I learned they get quite busy in the evening but for lunch, especially in the off season, it is not at all busy. Good for me, I had my choice of seats. My server told me about their lunch special, two slices and a drink for a very reasonable price. I got the lunch special but added a few more toppings for an upcharge. I found the slices large and very good from point to crust. The slices were hot and delivered with a smile. I liked the place, lots of large windows to let in natural light and to look out, and Beatles music playing in the background.

Came to this pizza parlor by the sea because a friend was playing the fiddle there . Ok that sounds silly. But that is why I had to see it. Ordered a meat lover pizza from Lori who couldn't be funnier and sweeter. Lori took our drink order and food order too. Got an incredibly delicious pizza , wine and enjoyed the oldies music from the 60's 70's by the live band. Looks like lots of seating. I'd come back again. Good service from Lori .

I can't relate to the negative reviews on here because my experience was fantastic. Staff was friendly, they have a full bar, great pizza and desserts, and it's an extremely spacious restaurant. My friend and I had the opportunity to chat in length with the owner at the bar and she was a doll. The service was outstanding and I would recommend highly!
