When we arrived, we were told that it was just a payment by card, which was good. we enjoyed everything with the meal and our time in cote, so we wanted to leave a 15% tipp, but when I asked if we could add that on the bill, I was told it was not necessary, as it added a 12.5% optional gravitation already in the bill. it cannot be optional if it is already added without being asked. we did not notice this on the bill as we thought it was a good value, and we were ready to add 15% on the bill total for the excellent food and service. if it is fakultatiw, as it says, then please ask the patrons before they add to the bill, otherwise it is not optional. and said that the personal deserves it. but others who may be on a budget do not like to appreciate it as there is no mention of it somewhere on the website or on the menu that I could see. the only place I found was on the lower side of the at the beginning, which denotes the website and the service fee. if I had known or had been informed, I would have fortunately asked that the gratitude had changed to 20%, but that should be our option. I can't wait to go back.
The ambiance and food are really nice. The portions are a bit on the small side, but they are satisfying enough to be worth it. Overall, it's definitely worth trying again.
This charming French brasserie offers an authentic dining experience. I love that they serve French beer instead of the usual local Glasgow options. The French onion soup was outstanding, and the beef bourguignon was fantastic.
Excellent eating. we enjoyed a light lunch just before the trip to the airport and will definitely return when you are staying in glasgow!
I enjoyed. The atmosphere was jolly and the service friendly and efficient. A great city centre location and the venue has the appearance of a French brasserie. The uniforms were not entirely as one might expect in France and some of the menu items were not entirely in keeping Gin and Tonic, Port or Cafe Anericain but on the whole good value for money and the experience.
