Da Vinci´s - Glasgow

Scots have a deep affinity for all things fried, whether it’s fish, meat, or even pizzas and chocolate bars, with the infamous deep-fried seafood bar being quite popular in the area! While Da Vinci doesn’t serve that, many local establishments do. Their menu features fish fried in three different batters, served with potatoes and peas. Rather than being puréed as they typically are in England, the peas here are served whole. Diners can enjoy the fish with an impressive selection of sauces, including vinegar, mayonnaise, barbecue, and tartar sauce to suit any preference. Interestingly, the menu includes the option for tea or coffee, which might seem unusual at first. However, given how some patrons indulge in alcoholic beverages, it might be wise to skip the beer in a family-friendly atmosphere. Dinner costs about £6 or £7 per person, making it quite affordable.

I came here for breakfast with my partner, and I have to say it’s the best breakfast in the city! Everything was fresh and made to order, not greasy at all, and incredibly flavorful. The service was great, and it’s definitely worth the money. We will definitely be back!

Personal so helpful. felt like a spicy veg pizza late dinner and the beautiful girl made it fresh with a big smile on her face. even some chili powders added to sauce as I said, like spicy food. will be back.

A good friend of us gave us an invitation to go lunch in the city and beat the da vinci’s and although we were down Queen Street many times thought we were just a fish and chip shop! how wrong were we, once inside and sitting the menu was presented to the company to choose our choice of meal, I took a look and it had made home steak cake, mint and kartoffel, curry, the menu had also a senior fish tee, fresh sampi with wet sauce amazing choice! everything was served with a smile and friendly staff, if any place deserves a mention in my guide for a good, if not great place, then this deserves my five star guide. john and margaret burn.
