Nice building, staff professional, but friendly, food supberb. Since my first visit returned twice. If a visit to Glaschu is highly recommended, you will certainly not be disappointed.
First time trying this lovely restaurant and went for the Sunday lunch menu. It was very good value for money, the food was absolutely superb, the service was top notch and the restaurant itself is a very nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The pickled mussels are a nice wee nostalgic appetiser, the pickled watermelon and feta was very good but a bit more watermelon would have been appreciated. Beetroot and orange cured salmon was the other starter it was also very good. The mains were the lamb roast of the day, cooked absolutely perfect, the accompanying veg was superb and the Yorkshire pudding crispy and light. If there was a minor complaint the roast potatoes were a bit too big and not as fluffy in the middle as you'd expect. The charred rump steak was the other main, cooked perfectly and very tasty served with French fries and an amazing peppercorn sauce. We had a couple of cocktails to finish off and they were as good as anything you'll get in Glasgow, all in all a superb meal and will definitely be back.
First time trying here and I can't recommend highly enough. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, and the food, oh my, the food! We came in for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were very gracious and helpful, we felt very welcome!
Tent for celebrity Chateaubriand and could not blame anything about the whole experience. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, wonderful hospitality. For a higher end restaurant you are not made feel out of place, even after just jumping into your layer.
