Would have been perfect, but the booking system didn’t work!

Eat once a month with a group of friends (usually booked by someone else). Your booking system is awful. I tried to phone (as I manageds once before) and got into your automated systme. I had to book online not easy. I then wished to change the number of people impossible as it is not clear how I do this and when I clicked on modify your booking box, the page appeared as unavailable. As usual the staff were lovely. There are still no hooks for handbags in the ladies toiulets; I have commented on the lack before as a health hazard.

Portion sizes have shrunk and some features which used to be free are now cost options. Aside from that, a good evening.

We ordered eggs benedict and eggs mediterranean. Eggs were not runny and cooked to rubber. Muffins were not toasted well. Bacon was sad. Salsa with the eggs mediterranean tasted exactly like doritos salsa would not be surprised if they used it. Chocolate and banana waffle was good. Hot chocolate and cappuccino were ok. We got no courtesy check from waitress.

This was my second visit to Harvester and enjoyed the first trip. Second time round was terrible. Food was fine nothing to shout about fine for family pub grub. This time upon arrival staff member only gave us two salad bowls and there was three of us. Partner ended up just going getting a plate for a bread roll and using that. My little girl not given the play kit like last time but was fine we brought stuff to entertain her. It was just the little touches that made last time nice. Dinner was fine little ones chicken was tough so she couldn 't chew it. We really aren 't ones to complain so she just had some pasta from the salad bar. Upon waiting to pay my little girl always holds my card to go beep beep the woman came over and said as much as I 'd love to take it, I can 't it 's got alcohol on the bill clearly my 1 year old wasn 't purchasing the alcohol and a complete jobs worth done herself out of any tip. So I held my little girls hand whilst she went beep beep . I mean seriously it 's suppose to be child friendly. Dirty forks and treatment, average food and nothing to rush back for us the reason for the stars. Will be sharing with local East Kilbride mummy groups to make them aware a certain female staff member is not child friendly and best to avoid.
