Macmillans Kitchen - Glasgow

The view of the mountains is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delightful. I enjoyed the breakfast, which I took the time to make look beautiful, even though I could only manage to eat part of it. The burgers at Dave's Diner are hearty and definitely not a quick bite – they’re true butcher-style burgers, packed with meat. The bistro experience at night is special, and the food is absolutely stunning. If you're in the area, you must pay a visit. I highly recommend Dave's Diner and the Bistro Nights for something special.

What more can I say? This place is a gem! My children, my husband, and I enjoyed breakfast here yesterday and returned today with no complaints. I highly recommend the goat cheese, beetroot, rocket, and the deliciously soft toastie. They also offer a wide variety of homemade cakes, and they cater to gluten-free options! The fresh coffee paired with the stunning view is just perfect—what more could you ask for? Next time, we’ll definitely make a reservation for one of their special evening events. Nicola, at the front of the house, was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional—a true star! I can’t wait to come back. David and Kellie are doing a fantastic job. Top-notch establishment for a top chef! xxx

I just had brunch, and it was fantastic! The journey to Alloa is always worthwhile. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Plus, there's a beautiful view and a well-stocked garden center right next door.

I've eaten today with 17 county dancing friends here at lunchtime and we can't praise the personal and eating high enough. everyone has enjoyed his meal very much, and we were all very welcome. thanks to david and all at macmillans. x

This is an undiscovered gem. A relaxed bistro feel, with locally sourced ingredients and all dishes made from scratch. Very reasonably priced too . Smoked salmon . Great venue for a day out from the city, to meet friends for coffee or lunch. It’s my favourite meeting place, and the views from the conservatory restaurant are fantastic. Yet to try Dave’s Diner on a Friday night, but hear great things
