Nando's East Kilbride - Glasgow

I went here with my friends and the staff were all lovely and the food was amazing

I *love* Nando’s. Service in EK is always really friendly and enthusiastic, and I like the quirky little notes and messages they have on their menus and signs. It’s got lots of personality, which in an ever more beige and banal corporate world, is very welcome. The staff are so, so nice too today I was served by a blonde haired man with a manager tag on and he was extremely helpful, friendly and professional and had lots of patience with me when I couldn’t make up my mind and was asking lots of questions. Well done to him and thanks for having the patience of a saint with me !! I’ve never encountered an unfriendly member of staff here. They’re all great ! The food is so delicious too; I adore the way they chargrill the chicken, and it’s nice that you can build up rewards too. I’ve tried pretty much all the menu but my favourites are the chicken wings, the sunset burgers, and whatever specials they have on. I actually just like all of it there’s nothing I dislike ! I also feel like Nando’s has got a bit of character to it and it’s always, perpetually upbeat and enthusiastic ! This particular Nando’s is a nicely laid out one I like the booths and the configuration and set up of it, plus the artwork; got to be honest, it can sometimes be a bit chilly but it is next to an ice rink after all, so that’s to be expected

I've never been a big fan . Heading to the movies and other places either busy or closed . Decided on a grilled chicken wrap and peri fries , all good . My other half opted for the grilled chicken on a bun , it was chicken incased in a concrete bread , with a slice of tomatoe , solid . Not sure there will be a next time

I 've only been to nandos once before, and it 's not really a go to for me, I 'm not into spicy food but I was with someone who wanted to try it out. I thought it was pretty over priced considering you order the food yourself and the drinks and condiments are self service. The burger bun was a bit tough, but overall tasty enough. The fries were delicious, the coleslaw was a bit bland. I 'm sure if you like spicy food it 's a good option, but it genuinely surprises me how popular 'a cheeky nandos ' is.

Great food. They could do with reducing the price of the soft drinks, even a little.
