Snooks - Glasgow

Today, I took my sons out for lunch at Snooks. We waited for nearly 35 minutes with just drinks and still hadn't even ordered, despite others who came in after us being served. We decided to leave and pay for our drinks, but were told we'd be charged extra for using a card. When I questioned this, I was told it was busy and to look around. I visit Snooks often and while the food is great, the slow service and lack of priority for customers is unacceptable. My son, who works part-time at McDonald's, understands the importance of efficient service and staff organization. Snooks needs to improve their service.

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I wanted to take my child out to dinner today. We sat in Snooks for almost 35 minutes with just a drink, and still had not placed our order even though others around us were served after us. We decided to just pay for our drinks. Instead of an apology, we were told that there was an additional fee for paying with a card. When I mentioned that I had waited without being served, I was simply told that it was busy and asked to look around. I am a regular customer at Snooks, but the service can be slow and it is not acceptable for others to be served before us. I understand that they may be busy, but even my son who works at McDonald's knows to organize additional staff during peak times. It's a shame because the food is really good at Snooks, but they need to improve their service.
