Sultan's Great Western Road - Glasgow

We decided to try out this restaurant on a whim, since it was close to our hotel. We were very happy with our visit. The owner, Farouk, is a friendly guy who made us feel welcome (we were the only customers at the beginning). My wife ordered a vegetarian dish and I had a chicken biryani. The saag was a bit too spicy for our liking, so Farouk took it back to the kitchen, added some yogurt and cream, and brought it back to us much improved. The biryani I had was delicious and topped with bread, which was a new and tasty experience for me. In a city full of Indian restaurants, Sultan's food is some of the best we've had. Plus, being located in the West End, there's no need to go into the city center when this place on Great Western Road is so convenient. We will definitely be returning!

Omg the food was absolutely outstanding. Seemingly the real authentic Indian chef has been cooking for over 35years and the guy is a genius. We both had different curries and they were the best we have had in a long time. The place was really quiet but feruk our waiter was very attentive and passionate. Well impressed and defo go bk. Highly recommend

This is the first time i have been to this restaurant my and friends all had different and it was all very good fresh and tasty well priced would hilgly recommend a visit

Second time here epic curry and eating experience. , cannot fault the food or service definitely recommend you won't be disappointed

This restaurant is in a fantastic location for grabbing a meal before a show at The O2. The food is high quality and very spicy, and the staff are lovely as well. Highly recommended!
