Bothy - Glasgow City

Had another fantastic Sunday lunch...as always, great food and friendly staff. relaxing surroundings and tucked away from the hustle and bustle :

Visited with group of 13 for a celebration dinner and we were not disappointed. The private dining area has great ambience for a group this size, all seated around at one table. Service was spot on, food perfectly cooked and good wine selection. First time here but would certainly come again and recommend to others.

Lovely meal of venison for my partner and chicken for me. Location is cozy and the service was good!

We pre booked for a Saturday night meal. The restaurant was full, however the service was instant and with a smile. The menu is interesting and varied and when the food arrived it was delicious . We had the salmon and the belly pork as mains. The service was attentive and extremely professional. The kilt uniforms add a lovely Scottish touch to the experience . I’ve already booked for next month and recommend this restaurant very highly .

We ate here for dinner. It was OKAY. We started with the bread with miso and sage butter, pumpkin seed oil, and white gastrique. This was DELICIOUS. We also ordered the olives to start. These were not delicious. Lol they were very briney and just had an odd flavor. For my main, I ordered the venison loin it was pretty good! My partner ordered the ribeye steak and he didn't enjoy it. The decor is really nice and the service was great. Overall, we'll give Bothy Glasgow another shot, but we won't rush back. Note for vegans: they have a full vegan menu. Just let one of the staff know you're vegan and they'll provide the menu!
