Feedback gevenWe arrived at the restaurant at 4:15 pm on Wednesday, November 8th hoping to have coffee and cake. However, before we could go in, the owner informed us that he was closing early due to lack of customers. Despite explaining that we were there, he mentioned that the coffee machine was already off and being cleaned. Ultimately, he told us to come back another day. This was disappointing as the restaurant was supposed to be open until 6 pm. The owner's attitude towards us, as regular customers, was quite disappointing.
This is the best cafe in Glasgow to go to. From savoury to sweet, there is a lot to choose from. The staff are very welcoming and always in a good mood. Come here if you are in Glasgow. Top tip, try the chocolate waffles.
On the up !! Staff amazing food delicious .. good for a wee dram or hot drinks.. just turn up !! Sit inside or out .. smaller style venue !! Love the vibe !!
Please could the owners sort this cafe/bar !! Used to be a great wee place. Everything looks tired including the staff .. need an overhaul. Such a fantastic location with so much potential. We just go for latte and a T.. don’t even bother with food … make it shine as it used to be such a fun place to drink eat and meet. Now it’s so sad
After moving to Glasgow 9 years ago, my family and I have frequented this cafe regularly. We are drawn back by its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. However, our most recent visit, unfortunately, left us feeling disappointed. Despite the empty outdoor seating area, we moved a chair to accommodate our party of four. To our surprise, a waiter approached us and scolded us for rearranging the furniture without offering a warm greeting. He mentioned the redesign of the outdoor space as his reason for reprimanding us, though it seemed illogical. We felt as though we were being scolded like misbehaving children, which put a damper on our experience. This incident was especially disheartening given our loyalty to the cafe over the years. I hope this constructive feedback may prompt some staff training to ensure more consistent positive experiences for all customers.
