The Beechwood - Glasgow City

Excellent venue and excellent value! Staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend their lunch menu for choice and value. Also do a Seniors 2 course lunch for £6.99. Same menu but smaller portions. We will certainly be back.

We had lunch and a couple of drinks around lunch time. We came back in the evening but the manger wouldn’t let us back in. He asked my child for ID when we explained he was 18 but didn’t have ID he told us we couldn’t come in. The next family had children around 10/11 years old. He told them they were welcome until 7pm. When we explained to him what he had done he told the security to remove us from the front door. I can’t understand how he picks and chooses what children are allowed.

I organize a supporters bus from the Roseburn Bar in Edinburgh, and we often stop by the Beechwood before and after Scotland football matches at Hampden Park. Sean and his team are exceptional and always welcoming to our group of over 50 people. Sean is always accommodating when it comes to reserving tables, parking for our bus, and providing prizes for our raffle. The Beechwood itself is a fantastic place with a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and friendly staff. A big thank you to Sean and his wonderful team.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was a great experience. The facility was very accommodating for my son who uses a wheelchair. The staff was incredibly friendly, even on a busy night before a Scotland game. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to others.
