Yen At The Rotunda Glasgow

So much garlic! We ordered a wild mushroom linguine and a spaghetti carbonara, but all we could taste was garlic. It seemed like the same sauce was used for both dishes. We left with a lingering garlic taste that we just couldn't shake. It was very disappointing. They need to pay more attention to the quality of their food. Additionally, the food arrived too quickly - we were finished in just 45 minutes. The only positive was our drinks. We definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful evening with outstanding service at this restaurant. Rachel made sure to double check that our food was dairy free, and went the extra mile to accommodate any requests we had. The food was beautifully presented, hot, and delicious. We will definitely be returning next time we are at the Ovo Hydro.

On nights with concerts, it is recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant gets quite busy. The service was excellent, especially Stephen who was very attentive. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced, with a good variety of options from Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisines. The wine was good, but we were puzzled by the price difference between a half pint and a pint of Peroni. Despite some empty tables, we noticed many people being turned away. It was a shame as we saw those tables unused throughout our meal.

Terrible service . Arrived 5.40pm . Ordered drinks and food at 5.50 . No drinks or food by 6.30 . Had to go to bar to get my own drinks after asking waiter twice . No food and was told another 15 min before starters were coming . 4 other tables exact same round us .we all got up and left . They didn't even say sorry . . Food did not look good what I seen. Never ever go back and woul tell others the same . Totally avoid it . There's better near there for food . 0/10

Went last night 14/6/23 and opted for the Chinese side of things , i must admit to being confused by some of the negitive reviews as my experience was great , i got a bottle red wine , ribs , tempura prawns and a satay all was brilliant! Service my the lassie serving was great , i will definitely go back .
