Step into Il Cortile and you'll feel like you're stepping into a laneway in Italy. The staff are friendly and greet you immediately once in sight with nothing but pure warmth. Its a narrow and long cafe typical of Glebe and decor and atmosphere leave it feeling quite cosy. There's tables out front to people watch from the quieter end of Glebe Point. The streets of Glebe Pt pushed three quarters of the path of this long food strip on this neken of a café. A long close cafe near the bus stop, which could be easily missed if you are not looking. Although I get this place, rather a kind of joint, rather than a kind of take. Or was it the fact that this special morning was more than the order of the day? Who knows, but it was pleasant in the atmosphere of this narrow and hidden cafes. Grief I enjoyed my breakfast here and will come back for a pair of your tasty flaky pastries.
I cannot start my day without Andrea's coffee ! Such a beautiful little cafe with lovely hard working staff who always have a smile and a ciao for you :)
One of my favourite small cafes in Glebe! The staff appear to be Italian and speak their native language between each other.
After reading some of the good reviews we expected this place to be a lot better.
