The potato was good and crunchy and the rest was rich and gooey with cheese and sauce. My husband had fish and chips; the fish was great but the chips were just skinny french fries. The beers we picked were great. My main problem with our meal was a very energetic atmosphere where we had 4 TVs we could see from our table, all on different channels, plus a crowd of noisy people at the bar. Also, there was only one waitress for the entire place and the poor woman was constantly running so, of course, the service suffered. This was a much different visit than our last time- coming for a quiet brunch!!!
I usually am not one to leave a negative review of a restaurant or anything in general, but the experience that was had here left little to no choice but to do so. The first aspect of this was that the restaurant is obviously listed on open table, but when we got there, there was a sign to seat yourself. This both confused and angered us, since the time was spent to look for it on open table and then make the reservation. The atmosphere was the second very poor aspect of our experience here, which was horrible to say the least. It seems that most people enjoy some background music at a restaurant, and most places do that very tastefully. The music was blaring at an extremely high volume level, which was beyond unpleasant. Normally I am quite easy to please with a given restaurant, but the experience here was quite horrible overall.
My husband and I love going here. We love their appetizers and drinks. Always great service
I usually go for lunch. It is fairly laid back and has a pleasant atmosphere. I love the Irish pictures. I always get Sarah Lou Matthew as a waitress because she is excellent and I know I will get treated well. Keagan's is much more than just a bar, its a good place to eat. Also has plenty of TV's, large and small, for the sports enthusiasts.
Went for Mother's Day afternoon lunch. Despite having reservations, we still had to wait for seating. No menu service. Buffet only, which had not been advertised. Very average experience.
