Coin Laundry Cafe - Glen Eira

Stopped in to this gorgeous little cafe for lunch with a few family members last Saturday on recommendation from my daughter who lives in the area. What a lovely cafe. Very windy day and the place was full. We had to wait outside for about 10 minutes but they were very quick to find us a table.They dont take bookings. A bit squashy for some. From memory there are not too many large tables but we had a table for 5 and there were a couple of larger tables. The menu is amazing. So healthy and delicious. I had beef ribs with a citrus salad, yum, yum, yum. There is risotto and quinoa and the usual fare of eggs and bacon. Apparently the french toast is to die for so I will have to give it a go next time. The decor is so cute. I believe it was an old laundry and they have kept the original sign, very cute. There is paper laundry hanging on ropes across the walls. The atmosphere is lovely, maybe a little noisy for some ,but not me , it just added to the atmosphere. Freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious and you can even get a glass of wine, very civilised. The service was fantastic and the whole place has a great chilled vibe. I will definately be back.

I had Brunch there and I had French toast with long streaky bacon. I was so impressed by it whenever I go I order it every time. The service was good even though we waited 5 mins for the menus to be brought around. If you go there order the French toast, you won't regret it.

Such a different place,I loved the atmosphere and the decor. This is my favourite brunch place. Gorgeous coffee and excellent Eggs Benedict. Thing I like least - it would take at least 28 hours on a plane to get there again!!!

Beautiful and fresh ingredients. The baked bean egg dish was delicious. Will definitely go back to this buzzing place. Staff were lovely.

I went to the Coin Laundry for a business meeting. Wow what a cool little spot. The interior is very chic and was nice and warm with all the sun shining through the large windows around the cafe. The service was great; as was the hot buttery croissant and coffee that I had. If you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.
