Donut King - Glen Eira

I am not impressed with the service at Donut King. The way the manager spoke to the customers was unacceptable. My order was messed up; my hot dog was raw. The manager showed no concern and refused to refund my money or take the food back.

I often find myself drawn to Coffee and Donuts because it's just that good. The staff is always friendly and engaging, and we can't get enough of their hot donuts and coffee.

First: we love donuts my children and I buy every time we shop. I have two sons, and they will also swallow the dirt in the backyard. we bought donuts, who were quite icy very attractive for a child and they were hard and stale feeling. once visually compare with the others in the cabinet I could see that the donuts we bought and others were old in the cabinet! compare the lower dough part to the other in the cabinet. I asked for a fresh donut and was said “all our donuts are fresh” good I call bullsh

I wanted to grab a milkshake at this restaurant today. There were two young people working and it was quite busy. The young woman at the front was initially friendly, greeting my daughter with a smile. However, she quickly became short and rude. My daughter also wanted a hot dog, so I asked if I could add one to my order. This request seemed to be a huge inconvenience. The milkshake was lukewarm and barely had any chocolate in it. The hot dogs were mediocre at best, my 3-year-old could have made them better. They were very messy with too much sauce on one of them. Some customers even left because they were tired of waiting, but the portion sizes were fair. Customers are everything, treat them poorly and they will give a bad review. I was excited to try this place initially, but left disappointed by the attitude of the young woman. I will not be returning to be served in this manner. Kids usually have a good sense of things and this warning is a good one. The value for money was not worth it as the products were subpar.

The coffee is not too bad, and slightly better than what you would expect from a place that specializes in doughnuts.
