This restaurant was a cozy and small but pleasantly surprising find. Both the waitress and chef provided friendly service. The menu options were well curated, and the quality of the chicken in the Katsu curry was exceptional - incredibly tender. The portion size was decent and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the seating was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, thank you for the experience.

I used to frequent this restaurant when I lived nearby. It had a cozy, warm atmosphere and served authentic Japanese food that tasted like home cooking. However, when we visited after lockdown, we noticed some changes. The staff was not very friendly, but seemed more welcoming to local patrons. The overall vibe of the restaurant had definitely shifted.

Some of the best customer service and Japanese food you can find in Melbourne. I had the Aoba Box (bento) with kara age chicken for dinner and it was delicious. The meal was reasonably priced and very filling. I will be coming back for sure to try the daily lunch menu! Tasty gyoza

Came here for a quick meal with a friend. We both had the Aoba box, one fish and chicken. The food was delicious and the serving size was decent, we didn’t leave feeling hungry. It’s not over priced and the service was friendly.
