A really nice and friendly fish and chip shop So far I've just sampled the battered flake, potato cakes and a few chips but I'm impressed.

Having given up on this place twenty years ago some friends talked us into trying it again. Staff are friendly and helpful which is always a positive. The negative...Awful food. Slimy textured main courses. Horrid prawn toast. Everything lacking in flavor. Except the hot and sour soup which had some decent kick but was more like the texture of a congealed rice pudding...It is cheap which i suppose is a plus... there are so many great local options that I'm surprised they are still running. I truly couldn't recommend the place at all. The surroundings are largely irrelevant. It's the food that should be there first priority. Time to visit the competition guys to see how others are knocking it out of the park.Head to centre road if you want something significantly better

Six of us enjoyed a lovely evening at this restaurant. The food is very nice and not too badly priced. It's our daughters favourite Chinese in Melbourne - and she's not that keen on Chinese!! We shared quite a few main courses and all were of excellent quality. We would return here if in the area

Good honest take away at reasonable price. Always tasty and fresh. A pity there is no delivery service, but still worth it.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with polite and friendly staff. Upon arrival, we were provided with a warm towel and prawn crackers. We highly recommend the Mongolian beef, chicken corn soup, and special fried rice. We recently tried the deep fried ice cream and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, with a yummy batter and sauce. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean, and the service is prompt whether dining in or getting takeout.
