Sons choice and heard the pizza was nice, and it was, nice. However not the most friendly place, don't expect service with smile.I had the Lasagna Bolognese. It had a pouring of the Bolognese over the top of the Lasagna, thought a bit strange. It was also served in a cold-rimmed plate dish but the dish part was so hot, I can only believe it was microwaved. It was okay, but disappointing, no nice chewy corners I expected from an Italian. The table next door had meals of the specials board and they did indeed look special, so perhaps just a bad choice?Asked if they served Italian Hot Chocolate, got a stern "No!" Oh, okay, thats me told.Only saving grace was the gelati! Yum

My daughter and I had dinner at this venue back in May 2017. I keep coming back because this place is so inviting, friendly ambiance and of course the tasty flavorsome home made mainly Italian food. I can't add much more to the review I wrote in January. The wonderful yummy food speaks volumes, for itself. Just go you will not be disappointed.

Not what I would say a delicious dining experience. Started off well with a tomato salad for entree. Ordered a spaghetti marinara with no garlic. What arrived was a totally white colored meal swimming in water and no taste at all. The chilli was the only flavor. The fish was undercooked in the spaghetti. I would need convincing to return again.

We've been coming here for many years with family and friends. The food and service is always good. Delicious Italian food. We caught up with some friends who hadn't been here before and they enjoyed it too. We shared an entree of scallops and between us we had the flounder, linguine seafood, calamari and ravioli. All the dishes were delicious. Looking forward to the next time!

Situated in the heart of the Glenferrie Road, Malvern shopping strip, Something Italian is a great restaurant providing authentic Italian food. Service was friendly and quick, the menu was vast and the food portions just right and very, very tasty. Unfortunately, they only had one Italian wine on each of the white and red wine lists........another couple of choices would be nice. But hardly a major factor.An excellent restaurant providing excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
