Sozai - Glen Eira

Delicious and fresh sushi. Spicy tempura prawn is delectable and many other great dishes. My family and I go regularly

We have been going to Sozai since it opened (2-3 times each month) and have always enjoyed the menu and freshness of the food. We had a really bad experience there last night. The menu has changed, the service was terrible, the order in which the food was served was all wrong. The quality has dropped substantially, leading us to ask if there is a new owner? We will not be rushing back.

Just love Sozai for its' fresh sushi and sashimi. Their Gyoza and nasu-dengaku is deliciously consistent. Efficient polite service and it's always busy so it's wise to book ahead of time. We've since moved from Melbourne and miss our Japanese food fix but we'll be coming back. Hope it stays good while we're away but doesn't become too pricey.

The last Japanese resturnat we ate in was in Mikan italy. Not many people know that Milan which is land bound is actually the seafood capital and distribution centre for all of italy. All fish arrives here then goes down south to Rome nd Naples. So the fish we ate there was incredible.This fish was just good nd fresh but not on that levelIt would help if the waitresses smiled a bit? They are pretty dull and lacking in personality. It was a bit noisy as it got busier.Nothing memorable but probably consistent and reliable place for locals to go
