Angie's Lobster - Glendale

We were thrilled to try Angie's on our 25th anniversary. We decided to visit for lunch and were not disappointed. The lobster was fresh and cooked perfectly, and we give it 5 stars in every category. The portions were generous and satisfying.

I live 40 minutes away from this amazing lobster food truck, but it's definitely worth the drive! They still follow social distancing guidelines, and it's outdoor seating, which is great. They have a limited menu, offering two dishes - a traditional and fresh lobster served in a toasted hot dog bun with fries and Angie's sauce on the side. The fries are just okay, nothing special, but the lobster is the star of the show. The other dish is the same fresh Atlantic wild lobster but deep-fried in a light, crispy panko coating. These lobster fingers also come with fries and Angie's sauce for dipping. The lobster fingers are delicious - sweet and fresh lobster in a crispy coating. I highly recommend both dishes. The special sauce is a mystery to me, but I think it's a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise with some pepper or spices for a kick. And at $9.99, the price is unbelievably cheap.

We decided to give this restaurant another try, but it was just decent and not quite up to our expectations. I didn't enjoy the lobster fingers as they tasted fishy and my husband thought they were just okay. The warm lobster roll we both ordered had a decent amount of lobster and tasted like lobster, which was a plus. However, the lobster was a bit watery and chewy, not very warm, but still had a decent overall taste. The bun was greasy on the outside and the fries were thin and crispy. The lemonade was delicious. The prices were fair, but we were hoping for something better. We may return occasionally, hoping for improvement.

Simple menu, fair prices, and delicious lobster rolls! The hot buttered #4 was amazing. Much better than the cold lobster roll that was the only option when they first opened up.

The simplicity of the menu is a refreshing change from many places. The lobster was good. The house sauce is very good. The fries are better than average. The sweet tea and lemonade are both good. The overall value for your money is very good. The staff was friendly. Would recommend.It would be nice if there was a place to sit outside.#greatvalue
