The restaurant is in a great location, attached to the outside of the Americana shopping center so there are plenty of places to explore before or after dinner. Also, parking is easy given that you can park in the Americana parking garage, however, it is a bit of a walk getting to the restaurant. We also were told they validated parking and were at dinner a little over two hours total but when we went to exit the parking garage, even after being validated, parking was $9. The inside of the restaurant is really bright, open, and California classic. Our server was very polite, however, he was extremely slow checking in on us, and the items came out very slowly. Our first appetizer came out 46 minutes after we sat down, and our entrées came out just under 90 minutes after sitting down. If you want to be out of there in under two hours, that would be difficult, considering we were a party of two that ordered right away after being seated. Also our server did not come and check on us during the appetizers or the entrees and was a bit slow in getting the drink refills. My steak was $92 for 12 ounces so the pricing in my opinion is a bit too high. I’m sure part of that is due to the rent of the building, but still you can find a lot of great steak in Los Angeles for a bit less. I started off with the Wagyu Tartare and it was actually great. It came with a lot of chips that were cooked in animal fat, and there was plenty of Wagyu as well. For my entrée, I chose the 12 ounce Barrel-Cut Filet Mignon, and it was actually terrific. The price was a bit too high, but the flavor and quality of the meat were top notch. One feature of the meal that I loved was that they served french fries as the bread option with three different dips, and each of the set of fries was seasoned differently. One of the best free starters that I have received at any restaurant. Overall, the food was delicious, I really enjoyed the setting, but I wish the service would have been more prompt and the pricing a bit more fair. I would recommend, however, with some reservations.
The service was superb, the food was beyond amazing. The experience was out of this world. Customer service top notch the team worked as a whole ensuring that we were well taken care of.
Another wonderful evening here at Bourbon Steakhouse, as always amazing service, awesome food, and great new drinks from the bar. Come here to celebrate anything or just to spoil yourself (you definitely deserve it . There is one item I will have to point out though, over the years we have really enjoyed the in-house-made popcorn, it was a super delicious snack to enjoy after a fantastic dinner. However, they are no longer available, this is a crying shame, please bring them back ASAP Otherwise this restaurant is a fantastic option for a great evening out.
I’m at a lost for words to truly describe the experience we received. PJ was phenomenal and was very well informed on the harvesting and cooking process of the meals. The food was decadent and delicious. We had an amazing time. The sides were too die for… each side has such unique flavor. The Tomahawk was flavorful and cooked just right.
This is perhaps the best steakhouse I've ever been to in the San Fernando Valley. From the moment we walked in, the service was Supreme. Per usual, be prepared for the servers to recommend specials that are not for the budget conscious. The cocktails are top tier, and the bar also stocks quality house liquors. The food is served in sharable portions and can easily be split amongst 4 adults. The chefs did an excellent job delivering a well seasoned, fork-tender steak crusted with a hard sear. If you are not a fan of Feta Cheese, skip the creamed spinach. Also, for those with nut allergies, be prepared for limited side choices. The corkage fee is slightly higher than other steakhouses at $50, but totally worth it if you don't plan to order from their cocktail or wine menu. They do have a deal that if you buy one of their bottles, they will open yours for free. Overall, this is a great place tucked away from the hustle of L.A. City to take in a premium steakhouse experience.
