I've been here regularly for over a year after my boss recommended it. It's a mile from my work and 6 miles from my home. I have to go to all the other sushi places nearby and this is my favorite. Sakana Sushi at 59th ave and the 101 was my favorite. Haru 1A and Sakana are 1B in my eyes. I love how consistent they are in their food. No matter what day or when I come, I know what to expect when I order. Always the same consistency and quality. I can come for a quick lunch during the week or Friday night to really treat myself it is always of great quality. My favorite time on my birthday last year, where I ordered the cook choice sushi plater and got a huge bowl of everything they had to offer. I really treated myself back then. Staff, servers and chefs are always friendly and committed. You always want to make sure you have the best experience. To visit my favorite times are either Monday to lunch, as it is Happy Hour all day or Friday when I start from work (at 2PM) my weekend. All the many pictures I share are of my many different visits.
Little pricy, but rolls and sushi were so good. We got a hight night and sushi B
Fun place... small, clean, casual. The waitress was so nice and welcoming. We were there in a night that was a basketball championship game. The owner, a Golden State Warrior fan, had an explosion like his sushi kitchen. Talking to everyone at their tables while they are paving for the warriors. Ordered an expensive bottle of love. It was so refreshing and smooth. Our roles were also fabulous. Really happy that this place is near our house. We'll be back.
Some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted, without a doubt. I'm visiting from out of state and went with a large group of about 12 people. It was a Friday night, and we made a last-minute reservation, which meant we had to split up, but HARU went above and beyond to accommodate us. I’m so glad we decided to eat here; the quality and cuts of fish were exceptional. I sat at the sushi bar, and the chefs were fantastic. The nigiri was truly remarkable, and the Escolar they served me was hands down the best I’ve ever had. If you're in the area and craving sushi, this is the place to go! I would definitely recommend it – 10/10!
