Modern Market Eatery - Glendale

I ordered 9 salad Ahi box lunches for a meeting from Modern Market. I paid $196.75, but unfortunately, none of the lunches actually had the Ahi in them. This was our first and last time ordering from Modern Market. We had a takeout service and it was for lunch.

I ordered a sandwich at this restaurant today and specifically asked for the sauce to be on the side. Unfortunately, there was sauce both in the sandwich and on the side. The sandwich also came with a side of chips, but the bag only contained a few chips. Overall, it was a pretty terrible experience and I felt like I wasted $14 on this disappointing service. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 1 out of 5.

The food at this restaurant is usually fantastic, but our last experience was marred by finding a mantis in our meal. Despite our complaint, we were only offered a $20 coupon as compensation for the inconvenience. We used to be loyal customers, having spent thousands of dollars dining here over the years, but have not returned in months following this incident.

I recently visited this restaurant in Denver and was thrilled to return! The menu offers a variety of fresh and delicious items. Although I considered trying something new, I couldn't resist ordering the blueberry pesto sandwich again, as it was so delicious the first time. This sandwich is a twist on a caprese sandwich, with the addition of balsamic blueberry jam. It may sound unusual, but it is incredibly tasty. Unfortunately, this time the bread was toasted too much and was hard to eat, causing some discomfort. However, once I got past the bread, the interior was just as amazing as before. I believe the staff would have been willing to remake it for me, as they were very friendly, but I was in a rush. In the future, I will ask for the bread to be lightly toasted to avoid this issue. Despite this, I find the quality and freshness of the food to be worth the price. The option of choosing a half or full portion is convenient for those looking to save money or have a smaller meal. I plan on returning to this restaurant and hope that my next visit will live up to a 5-star experience.

I visited the modern market at the airport and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I ordered a steak sandwich on gluten-free bread and it was delicious. Highly recommend!
