The quality is definitely above what I consider fast food. Your order is made fresh, the ingredients taste fresh, the salsa bar is always well maintained, and of course, the chips and salsa that come with most orders.I 've eaten Baja Fresh probably 100 times since 2000, and the Baja Burrito is just as good now as it was back then. It 's more filling than it looks. I always go with the steak. There 's just something about a Steak Baja Burrito that satisfies my soul.I 've heard Baja Fresh compared to Rubio 's. I don 't agree. Sure, they both serve Baja style food; shrimp, steak (high quality carne asada , or chicken. If I were to compare the style to Mexican food, if Mexican food were a street taco, Baja Fresh is a fajita. In fact, they have fajitas. All of the good tastes fresh and has an authentic taste, including their grilled fajita veggies.Your eyes will be bigger than your stomach from the moment you want in and smell the deliciousness you 're about to eat.The salsa bar is great, and usually offers your classic red house salsa, a fiery (7 pepper? salsa, a green cilantro salsa, and my personal favorite, the mango salsa, that even has smell pieces of mango in it. All of the salsas are pretty good, but there 's something about the mango salsa that has the perfect flavor to compliment almost anything on their menu. I highly recommend at least taking one cup with you (they provide small plastic cups and lids at the salsa bar, but you can request larger cups.. tell them how many you 'd like and they 'll grab them for you . WARNING: The lids dip down and need a little space in the cup, so only fill your cups about 75%, or you 'll squirt salsa all over you, the bar, and God knows what else. You 're welcome! The prices are a little higher than you 'll find at the traditional fast food burger and... mexican-inspired fast food places (any of them ring a Bell? , but the quality of the food is nearly restaurant quality. This location is sadly the closest to me which is about a 10-15 minute drive each way, but when I get a craving for them, nothing else will satisfy it. You won 't find any other fast food that is anything like it.Parking: The spaces in front of the store can be difficult to get in and out of, especially when that section is busy. However, there 's a large and open parking lot to the left of the store, toward Home Depot. I recommend parking there. Plenty of space and no stress.
Haven't been here in awhile, sadly it's gone way down in every aspect. Although the restaurant was pretty much empty, just us and another couple, the place was filthy. It's not as if they were too busy to tidy up!The food tasted horrible, almost as if it were over cooked or really old, just not fresh at at.We won't be coming back.
The food itself wasn’t bad but the cleanliness of the restaurant was disappointing. The majority of the tables were extremely dirty and the employees were just sitting on their phones.
Very good, they have some of the best chicken tacos I have ever had! I just wish there was more around since most of them have closed. This is one of the last ones in so cal, I hope it never closes!
Super fresh, super good, super satisfied ; I got a burrito with both steak and shrimp and they were very generous with the serving, I can tell eveything is fresh too; not your avarage steak burrito.
