My Mate's Pizza Glenroy

I recommend calling in advance as the pizzas can take some time to be cooked, but the wait is worth it for the fresh pies. Typically, it takes about 30 minutes, which is reasonable for pizza. We tried the volcano with spicy jalapenos and salami, as well as the BBQ meatlovers, which is a hit with our family for its sweet sauce and variety of meats. Both pizzas were loaded with gooey cheese, and even as takeaway, they held up well by the time we got them home.

I love coming to this restaurant with my friends because of their fast service and consistent quality. The flavors are always great and they are generous with their toppings, which is rare to find at their affordable prices in this area. The only thing I wish is that they offered delivery, but other than that, you can't go wrong with them.

The gourmet pizzas at this restaurant are delicious, but the lamb kebab pizza is the standout. It is a favorite among my friends and always surprises them with how tasty it is. It truly tastes like a real kebab! It is full of flavor and definitely the best pizza on the menu. On the other hand, the traditional pizzas can be hit or miss, but the garlic pizza is consistently delicious.

We tried my mates pizza recently and the first thing I noticed was, the toppings, there were plenty of them. I had the vegetarian, it was yummy, the only thing I would change, perhaps some fresh tomatoes on it. Hubby had a meat lovers and was very happy.

I've been in Melbourne for over a month now and this is up till now the best pizza I have had that I have even revisited the place more times. The additional best part is that it is Halal too so I can freely choose what I want to have. Plus, it's extremely affordable too. Love their garlic bread.Oh but make sure you have cash on you as they only accept cash no cards. The large pizza costs around 9.90/- so its not bad at all.
