VPs Cafe - Glenside

We live opposite the Burnside Village and have tried all the coffee places and this has become the go to place for good coffee , reasonably priced food and a good outlook and atmosphere.

VP's Café is one of our favourite places for lunch. It is located in busy Burnside Village, and is obviously a popular destination. There is no problem parking, and there are many tables inside, and several on the outside balcony. The inside is light and bright with smart décor. Available fare includes pies, pasties, quiches etc, a good choice of salad, many cakes and slices, and hot and cold drinks. There is table service for eating in, or you can buy and take away. Service is prompt and friendly, and above all, personal: for regulars, your order is known before you give it! This is a great place for lunch, or for a coffee break.

We come every week or two to VP's for lunch. They will provide salads to order, with ham, pie or pastie. A variety of cakes and drinks hot or cold - and that is just what we order! The staff is very friendly and obliging, and we have got to know many of them by name. There are many small tables, both inside and out, and this is a popular destination. We will keep coming!

Have stopped at this cafe several times, finding their service excellent on each occasion.
