Yanni's - Glenview

We went through the coronavirus on a Saturday evening directly before the shutdown. the restaurant had already taken incredibly responsible steps to remove tables so that the patrons were separated. even without the vire situation, yanni does not touch her restaurant that is so beautiful. service was fabulous as mike and alex are always great and eating with something for everyone is delicious. we love to come and feel like they really care about their customers!

Excellent Greek cuisine, which is at a reasonable price. our service was somewhat slow, but we had a total positive experience eating on a Saturday night.

Eating, service and ambiente were good. no concrete complaints.

We went for my wife’s birthday dinner at 5:30pm. Service was good, but had to ask for water refills every time (it wasn’t busy). Food was good, but not as good as on prior visits. I had a salmon special which was small and covered in what was supposed to be a Greek lemon/cream sauce, but it tasted like lemon-flavored oil or butter and it made the whole dish a soggy mess. Spanakopita and saganaki were excellent. Other entrees were reportedly good, not great. We’ll give it another try probably.

Yanni’s was excellent. The food portions were large and the meals were relatively inexpensive. But the best thing about Yanni’s was the incredibly flavorful dishes. We kept exclaiming with each bite “this is so good.”
