Spang•lish - Glenwood Springs

During my visit to Glenwood Springs, I had a craving for Mexican food, but I found that many places were closed due to stay-at-home orders. However, upon arriving at Alejandra, we were warmly welcomed and asked if we spoke English or Spanish. Regardless of our response, the experience turned out to be wonderful from that moment on. The restaurant was clean, and since it was later in the evening, there weren't too many other diners. I ordered the Garnachas Veracruzanas, a dish I had never tried before. It consisted of six small corn tortillas drenched in red chili sauce, topped with steak, red cabbage, and sliced boiled eggs. It was absolutely delicious! I wish I could share a photo, as the presentation was perfection. The flavors were even more impressive. I will definitely be returning. The wall decorations and ornaments made the atmosphere feel cozy and inviting.

We had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and incredibly friendly, accommodating staff. The kids also enjoyed their meals. We'll definitely be returning!

Fantastic food! I had the Carnitas plate, served with steaming hot fresh tortillas. Will be back!

This place is outstanding. Never a bad experience. Food is great and always spot on, surprising me with every new item I hadn't ordered before. My last visit was for breakfast on a Sunday. They should be busier on days like that especially with what they have to offer. Food and service is easily better than most places you'll find downtown. The price is remarkably right. Kudos to the family who owns and runs this place. Keep being amazing.
