Delicious Sicilian inspired restaurant, right in the city centre, set in a beautiful courtyard. Service is fantastic, food is worthy of a Michelin star and reasonably priced. Impressive wine list. Highly recommended!
Hidden in the courtyard of a 17th century palace, this little gem was the real discovery during my stay in Rimini. This is an all Italian fusion restaurant, in the sense that it combines flavours from the Romagna and Sicily regions. As a result, dishes from both traditions are reinvented and presented in an original way. In fact, the experience is a journey into the chef 's mind, where the memories of his native Sicily blend with his passion for Romagna, his place of choice. Nothing in the restaurant is left to chance the owner and chef Fabio Brigandì personally supervised and even designed! the decor of his creature . One refreshing feature is the fact that, even though Casabrigandì is located on Corso d 'Augusto, the main commercial street of Rimini, it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, and its location is perfect for a romantic dinner, or even if, like me, you 're flying solo, both in the summer you can sit outside or winter. The menu offers only a few selected choices you have have the option between à la carte and tasting menu Menù degustazione . I was a bit hesitant at first, but then I went with the second choice as I wanted to test all the possibilities the restaurant 's menu had to offer broadly speaking, your journey starts with a selection of crudi 'raw ', which in my case included gazpacho with baccalà skin chips, oysters, mullet tartare continues with a number of cotti 'cooked ', including an interesting reinvention of Belgium 's moules frites, and pasta con le sarde, a dish from Palermo , and ends with a lavish selection of desserts. In terms of wines and spirits, I strongly recommend to trust the chef 's and the sommelier 's experienced knowledge and suggestions, as many dishes are revisitation and may require a specific match mind you, if you want something else, the restaurant has a dizzying cellar to pick and choose from . I had a glass of Oltrepo pavese pinot nero metodo classico, followed by Marta Valpiani Albana, Cantina Marilina cuè grecanico, Albana passita Monticino rosso, and Sangiovese superiore Gianciotto tenuta Saiano. As I left the restaurant, the only regret I had was that my trip to Rimini was too short. I strongly recommend this place!
It's a nice place open also lunch time, I was having problems to find a place open in the area for lunch, and not to take away only. The atmosphere is good and the waiter was really nice. I ate a salmon pizza super tasty and a glass of red wine good. All together was fair price.
Good Italian food, very nice service and atmosphere. Reasonable price. The Carbonara was excellent.
