Latitude 43 - Gloucester

Overall, we had a wonderful time. However, our table was situated right next to the automatic door leading to the patio, which was quite distracting.

Latitude 43 was fantastic. The service was attentive, and the food was excellent overall (though the braised short ribs were not as tender as they should have been—likely just an unfortunate cut that day; I highly recommend the seafood!). The managers were energetic and accommodating, expertly handling a surprise birthday cake we brought with us. We will definitely be returning.

The fisherman's platter was outstanding and plentiful. I tried the scallops, which were also delicious. I’m looking forward to trying the sushi next. The service was excellent, and the food and atmosphere by the water were delightful.

I had seen Latitude 43 on Phantom Gourmet and decided that while staying at the Beauport I would go there for dinner one night. The food was not worth the price and I would have been better off spending my money else where.

First time there and I loved it. Our waiter was awesome and the food was delicious. Fantastic experience.
